The pool is the main feature of this small and friendly complex situated 5 minutes drive from the inner city

The Christchurch home of New Zealand’s national swimming squads and training centre for many of New Zealand’s swimming "greats" - Helen Norfolk and Danyon Loader trained here . Brett Naylor, NZ swimming team coach is based here. Co-owner and trainer is Scott Molina, six times winner of the Hawaiin Iron Man Triathlon.

Definitely a venue for the serious swimmer but don’t be intimidated if you’re not in the big league - a friendly lane and a reserved aqua jogging lane are always available. This is the only pool close to the inner city deep enough for aquajogging - a great way to get a no impact workout . You will need an aquabelt available for hire for $1.00
